Founded in 1980, Hi-Quality Carbide Tooling Inc. is an ISO 9001:2008 certified and Controlled Goods Program (CGP/CGD) approved Canadian company, specializing in the production of the highest quality carbide tooling for the Cold-Forming, Fastener and Spring Industries.  Hi-Quality Carbide has built a strong reputation, by name, for consistently exceeding our customers’ expectations in both quality and tool-life.

  

In 2009, Hi-Quality Carbide produced its first set of solid carbide feed rolls for the Spring Industry & solid carbide edge rolls for the Magnetic Wire Shaping Industry, utilizing its world-class Studer CNC Cylindrical Grinder.

 

Hi-Quality Carbide continues to invest in its future, utilizing state-of-the-art machine tools combined with highly skilled licensed tool-makers, to offer its customers the highest quality, competitively priced tooling.  Our temperature-controlled facility can produce and re-produce close tolerance tooling (+/- .0001)

Most recently, Hi-Quality Carbide  purchased a Mitutoyo Crysta-Apex S544 full contact CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) with a measuring range of 505 mm x 405 mm x 405 mm (X, Y, Z). Full contact contour scanning is now available.

We are also looking forward to our 4,400 square foot building expansion beginning this summer - 2012.
