Hi-Quality Carbide purchases 2nd Studer CT960 (June - 2015) & a 2nd Studer S33 (November-2015)

2014Hi-Quality continues to invest in additional high-precision manual & CNC lathes. New surface grinder & 2nd Laser Etcher are purchased.

*Studer CT960 - world class universal internal cylindrical grinding machine arrives with B-axis swivelling and non-round capability as well as a 4-spindle turret.

3 more skilled-trades specialists are hired.


Our 4,400 square foot building expansion & office renovation is now COMPLETE. We are all moved in.

2011Controlled Goods Program is registered and approved

To assist in customer traceability & part identification, Hi-Quality Carbide purchased a new Laser Etching machine for creating precision part numbers, serial numbers and grade identification. Bringing our out-sourced steel machining in-house, we've improved deliveries by purchasing a new Hyundai KIA CNC Lathe (with a 19.7" swing, 28.35"

between enters and a 12 station turret).



Hi-Quality Carbide continues to invest in its future, with the installation of five new machines: An Accutex Wire EDM, an Acute Small Hole EDM, a Large Capacity Okamoto Surface Grinder, a Sunnen EC-3500 high-production honing machine & the Colchester Combi 2000 CNC tool room lathe.
2007A new top-of-the-line CNC cylindrical Grinder arrives, allowing technological advancement in the process of developing carbide extrusion & piercing pins.
2006A new and larger facility is purchased with room for expansion.



During this time, production, machinery & staffing was increased, to ensure the highest quality finished product and reliable delivery dates.



1st CNC controlled machine is installed. New 3-axis NC controlled surface grinder and new large-capacity vertical honing machines are purchased.
